Skyline Coyotes (Mesa, AZ) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ), 38-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Skyline upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 6. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 8-7. Maryvale lost 93-59 in their recent non-league bout against Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ)

Next up, the Lions play the Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 29. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 94-81 non-league win over Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ).
