Davidson Day  Football Team Photo

Davidson Day football began in 2010 with a JV team and a middle school team. Both went undefeated. Varsity play began in 2011. DD played every game in 2011 on the road including games in Virginia, South Carolina, Western North Carolina and Eastern North Carolina. In 5 years of Varsity, the Patriots are 57-6 including 5 state championship game appearances and 4 state titles. Davidson Day does not have a home field. Most home games between 2011-2015 were played at Bailey Road Park in Cornelius, NC with the exception of home playoff games that were hosted at Hopewell High in Huntersville, Hough High in Cornelius, Charlotte Christian, Northside Christian in Charlotte and the 2011 state championship game at Johnson C Smith University in Charlotte.
