The establishment of Berks Catholic High School will continue the vibrant tradition of faith formation, academic excellence and athletic and extracurricular opportunities for students that has been the hallmark of Catholic secondary education in Berks County. Berks Catholic open it's door in September 2011; it was the merger of the previous Central Catholic High School and Holy Name High School both of Reading PA.
The BC Basketball Program is under the direction of Ken "Snip" Esterly. Coach Esterly was head coach of Reading Central Catholic who has won 542 games and five Berks championships during his 22 seasons at Central.
Jack was named a Class AAA first-team All-State selection and Berks Player of the Year this season after averaging 17.0 points, 10.1 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game.
He led the Saints to division, league and district championships, and a 28-3 record in their first season. He also won a pair of district titles with Central Catholic.
Jack finished with 1,725 points, 10th most in Berks history and most ever by a player in the city of Reading.
Jack currently plays for Penn State in the BIG10.
Marshall helped lead Berks Catholic to a 28-3 record and the Berks county and District III championship in 2012.
Marshall was named All-County and Third Team All-State after averaging 16.0 points per game. Scored over 1,000 points in his career.
Marshall currently plays for Towson University.
