Game recap: Orange Lutheran high school football team bests Servite

Orange Lutheran (Orange, Calif.) beat Servite (Anaheim, Calif.), 28-14.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Travis Waller, the Friars went into halftime with a 14-7 lead. The Lancers took the lead for good with a touchdown run by Tavi Jimmerson in the third quarter.

Waller played well for Servite. The sophomore quarterback ran for one touchdown.

Jimmerson played well for Orange Lutheran in the victory. The senior ran for three touchdowns. He has now scored eight touchdowns on the season.

OL had given up an average of 15.3 points prior to the contest.

The Orange school got revenge for last year's 21-8 loss to SHS with the victory.

The win was a nice bounce back for the Lancers, which lost to St. John Bosco last week, 21-6.

In a Trinity game next week Orange Lutheran (6-1) takes on Santa Margarita, and Servite (2-5) will go up against JSerra Catholic also in a Trinity game.
