League recap: Georgetown Day falls, extends losing streak to four

Mid-Atlantic [MAC] league recap: 5/7/12
Georgetown Day is now in the midst of a 4-game losing streak. The Mighty Hoppers lost another 2 games last week, including a 17-2 defeat against Sidwell Friends.
Sidwell Friends currently leads Mid-Atlantic [MAC] with a 13-11 record overall and an 8-2 mark during league play.
Maret sits 0.50 game back in second, with a 7-2 record in league play.
The Quakers's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 12 hits and three walks to lead the league in both categories. Sidwell Friends has given up a mere 182 hits on the year in addition to compiling 116 strikeouts.
Chase Plebani is the leader in that category with 38 Ks on the season.
