Game recap: Prior Lake conquers Rosemount

Prior Lake (Minn.) beat Rosemount (Minn.), 17-7.

After taking the lead on a Jack Johnson touchdown run in the second quarter, the Lakers led 10-7 at the half.

Prior Lake expanded its lead to 10 points entering the fourth quarter. PL's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run.

Johnson played well for the Lakers in the victory. The senior ran for one touchdown.

The Irish's lone touchdown came on a 5-yard run in the second quarter.

Prior Lake got revenge for last year's 13-6 loss to Rosemount with the victory.

In a South Suburban game next week Rosemount (0-3) takes on Eagan, and Prior Lake (2-1) will go up against Lakeville North also in a South Suburban game.
