Pioneer got a 48 - 20 win over Lafayette Central Catholic last week, and a key reason for the win was junior Jack Kiser. Kiser earned five touchdowns and 213 yards rushing the ball. That performance made Kiser one of the best players in the power rankings last week.
This Week's Top Game
One of the hottest tickets last week involved the clash between Ben Davis (1st in the power rankings) and Warren Central (2nd). Ben Davis got a somewhat close 36 - 29 victory over Warren Central. Ben Davis especially relied on senior Reese Taylor, who threw for 154 yards and gained 138 yards on the ground, and senior Johnny Adams, who ran for 177 yards and also punched in one touchdown.

After flying high with 42 points the game before, Pike took quite a dive last week. It suffered a painful 28 - 7 defeat to Fishers. The quarterback felt the loss most of all -- literally. After four sacks, he is probably hoping to get a little more protection in the future. The bitter result was made even more difficult to swallow as it knocked the team down four power ranking positions, the most of any team in the power rankings.
Points Galore
The Indianapolis Bishop Chatard offense has been a force to be reckoned with this season, and last week was no different. It blew past Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter 56 - 27. One of the main ringleaders for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard was sophomore Daylen Taylor, who earned three touchdowns and 243 yards rushing the ball. The combined 83-point effort made this the highest-scoring game in the power rankings for the week.
