League recap: Northern Bedford County gets lift from Fluke's big bat

Logan Fluke was on fire this week, as he led Inter-County - South with a .455 average, one home run and eight RBIs. His Northern Bedford County team went 3-0.

The Panthers' Eric Grace was the best pitcher in the league this week. He won one game and struck out nine batters.

Northern Bedford County, the season leader in runs scored at 181, added to its total with a league-high 32 runs this week. The Panthers' key hitters include Jake Stern, who has a team-high 33 runs, and Fluke, who leads the squad with with 31 RBIs.

Northern Bedford County's pitchers have displayed incredible control over the past week and all season, giving up just two walks over the past seven days and 61 on the year, both No. 1 in the league.

The Panthers' Isaac Stern led the league with six hits this week. On the season, he's hitting .500 and ranks first in the league with 31 hits.
