national rankings since last week after going 1-1 in the past seven days. The Vikings are currently sitting at No. 183 in the state of Pennsylvania, thanks to an overall record of 15-7.
First place in the league belongs to
Minersville, which has compiled an 8-3 overall record to go with its 5-0 league record. Williams Valley is in second place, zero games behind with an 8-3 record in league play.
The Vikings' pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only nine hits and 13 walks, both of which led the league. Williams Valley has given up a mere 108 hits on the year, while striking out 156 opposing hitters.
Brendan Miller is the leader in that category with 54 Ks on the season.
