Dorian Parks' thrilling game-winning buzzer beater has been voted the 2011-2012 boys basketball play of the year.

The junior guard from Austin (Texas) made it through four rounds of voting in the second annual MaxMadness tournament. After more than 350,000 votes, his late 3-pointer at the buzzer was crowned the winner.

Park took the rebound off a missed free throw the length of the court with less than 4 seconds left and down by two, and he nailed the running 3-pointer to give his team a 74-73 victory.

His community named it "the shot heard around the world."
