Game recap: Wayzata posts big fourth quarter in win over Eastview

Wayzata (Plymouth, Minn.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring seven in the fourth quarter to seal a 24-0 victory over Eastview (Apple Valley, Minn.).

The Trojans were up 3-0 at the half after taking the lead on a field goal in the second quarter.

Wayzata expanded its lead to 17 points entering the fourth quarter. WHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run.

The defeat comes as a step back for Eastview, which notched a 22-7 victory over Burnsville in its previous outing.

The Lightning (1-1) will play a South Suburban game against Lakeville North next week. The Panthers enter the tilt sporting a 1-0 record for the season.
