Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, Calif.) put an additional 14 points on the board on top of its 45-point lead going into the fourth quarter to beat out Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, Alaska) 59-0.
After taking the lead on a safety in the first quarter, the Nighthawks led 31-0 at the half.

The defeat comes as a step back for Juneau-Douglas, which notched a 23-6 victory over Lathrop in its previous outing. The loss snapped the Crimson Bears' 2-game winning streak. With the win the Murrieta school extended its winning streak to four games.
In a Northern Railbelt game next week Juneau-Douglas (4-2) takes on Palmer, and Murrieta Valley (4-0) will go up against Elsinore in a non-conference game.
