Prattville Lions (Prattville, AL) fans were pleased Friday as they witnessed their football team trounce the visiting Elmore Mustangs (Millbrook, AL), 47-7 in a non-league game.

The Lions (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Carver (Montgomery, AL). The Wolverines enter the 6A Region 4 game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Carver trounced Central (Montgomery, AL), 35-7, in a non-league game.

With the loss, Elmore falls to 2-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Greenville (Greenville, AL) to meet the Tigers in a 5A Region 2 game on Friday, September 30. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 0-4. Greenville lost 42-6 in their recent league game against Henderson (Troy, AL)
