El Dorado Aztecs (El Paso, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Socorro Bulldogs (El Paso, TX), 62-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, El Dorado upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Aztecs host Circle of Life (White Earth, MN) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Circle of Life lost 80-76 in their recent non-league bout against Buhler (Buhler, KS)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Pebble Hills Spartans (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 bout, on Friday, December 16. Socorro will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 61-48 league loss to Americas (El Paso, TX).
