January 17, 2017: Philadelphia, PA 19138 The Imhotep Charter Panthers (Philadelphia, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Martin Luther King Cougars (Philadelphia, PA), 61-53 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (12-2) will now prepare for their test against King (Riverside, CA). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, King notched a victory over Torrance (Torrance, CA), 71-67, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Math Civics & Sciences for a Philadelphia Public A test on Thursday, January 19. Martin Luther King will encounter a Mighty Elephants squad coming off a 87-58 league win over George Washington (Philadelphia, PA). The Mighty Elephants record now stands at 12-4.
