Both Logansport and Homer have made it this far into the playoffs, but they square off this Friday to determine who is worthy to move on. Homer will need to watch out since Logansport has posted big point totals in its previous five matchups.
Logansport can now show off eight landslide victories after its most recent game. It dominated last week, steamrollering North Central 52 - 0. Junior Tresmin Brown was especially active in the win, finding the end zone an impressive three times. Brown's longest touchdown was a 23-yard scramble in the first quarter. Brown should be a familiar name as he has been a major contributor for Logansport in the past four games. Senior John Stephens, jr. banked an additional two TDs for the team.
As for Homer, it is still under.500 but has been making strides to fix that in its last two games. The final score between it and LaSalle last week was a 56 - 8 blowout in Homer's favor.
Their wins bumped Homer to 5-7 and Logansport to 11-0. Both Homer and Logansport are bound to feel confident after their prior matchups, but one team's ego will take a hit. Check back on MaxPreps to find out which one when the teams meet up this week.
