North Myrtle Beach (Little River, S.C.) took an early lead against Mullins (S.C.) and held on for a 45-6 victory on Saturday.
The Chiefs scored 21 points in the first quarter. North Myrtle Beach scored on a passing touchdown, a rushing touchdown and a touchdown run.
After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, NMB led 42-0 at the half.
The Little River school grew its lead to 45 points entering the fourth quarter. The Chiefs scored once in the quarter on a field goal.
Mullins' lone touchdown came on a run in the fourth quarter.
The defeat comes as a step back for Mullins, who notched a 34-6 victory over Timmonsville in its previous outing. With the win North Myrtle Beach extended its winning streak to four games.
