Archer is seven games into its season, but it hasn't met anyone harder than the team challenging it next. It and Grayson take on one another this Friday at 7:30 PM on Archer's home turf. Archer apparently likes to keep its enemies close seeing as it has had three close games so far this season.
Archer won a game last week that couldn't get any closer, slipping by Newton 20 - 19. The game wasn't predicted to be so close given that Archer is ranked 1234th in nation, many spots ahead of Newton.
As for Grayson, it can now show off three landslide victories after its game last week. It dominated last week, steamrollering Shiloh 52 - 6. Junior Kenyon Jackson provided the team with an impressive 133 receivings in the victory.
Their wins bumped Archer and Grayson up to an identical 6-0. Of course, Archer and Grayson can't both win again this week, so we'll learn on Friday which team falters and which extends its success.
