Notes: Clinton made things difficult for themselves with a Week 10 loss to Kingfisher. If the Red Tornadoes are to win their 14th state championship, they will have to do so with road playoffs games.Hugo's Derrick Locke led Class 3A in rushing with 2,632 yards and 42 touchdowns on the season.Victory Christian's Jacob Lewandowski threw for 1,896 yards and 22 touchdowns, compared to just four interceptions.Purcell is unbeaten, surviving their biggest test in Week 4 with a 23-22 victory over Marlow. Speaking of Marlow, their trip to Tuttle promises to be the most enticing first-round matchup in Class 3A. Marlow's two losses on the season were to Purcell and Plainview (Ardmore) by a total of three points.

ÿ
Notes: The Class 2A race is probably the most intriguing of any in the state.Davis, Sequoyah (Tahlequah), Cascia Hall (Tulsa), and Vian are all undefeated. Millwood has one loss this season to Class 4A favorite Bishop McGuinness, 31-26. Millwood has six Division I prospects led by all-everything Gerald Jones (offers from Florida, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech, just to name a few).ÿ Jones has fought off injury problems to rush for 1,060 yards and nine touchdowns, while throwing for 1,494 through nine games. The Falcons also feature running back Prentice Washington (interest from Texas Tech), wide receivers Gil Roberts (offers from Baylor and Kansas State) and Tramain Swindall (Texas Tech commit), tight end Dontae Newton (offer from Baylor), and Chris Kemp (interest from Iowa State, Missouri, Hawaii, and Kansas State). Not bad for a school with an enrollment of around 290 students.Davis' only mild challenge came from Heritage Hall, defeating the Chargers 36-26.Chandler has had a nice season in defense of their title with a 9-1 record, only losing to Class 3A power Kingfisher.Vian has allowed only 5.2 points per game en route to a 10-0 record.ÿ Offensively the Wolverines have averaged 50.1 points per game.Cascia Hall has had better defensive success, allowing just 4.6 points per game on the season.Jones' Tyrone Jackson has rushed for 1,730 yards and 21 touchdowns on the season.Oklahoma Christian's Landon Greve, a sophomore, has thrown for 2,820 yards and 23 touchdowns this season, leading the Saints to a 7-3 record.Kingston's Trey Floyd has 15 sacks this season.

Four unbeaten teams will vie for the Class A title, including Pawnee, Okeene, Washington, and Velma-Alma. All have legitimate arguments as to why they should play the role as favorite for the Class A state title. Velma-Alma has posted seven shutouts and only allowed 18 total points this season. Kyle Palacol has posted an efficient campaign as the Velma-Alma quarterback. Palacol has just 54 completions on the season, but 14 have gone for touchdowns compared to just one interception.Washington's Tyler Simmons has scored 26 touchdowns on the season while rushing for 1,621 yards.Commerce started the campaign 0-2 before rattling off seven straight victories heading into the playoffs.Okeene is extremely dangerous, led by quarterback Brady Wardlaw. Wardlaw has thrown for 1,985 yards and 21 touchdowns to lead the Whippets. Okeene's closest game this season came against Carnegie in a 34-8 victory.
