Carmichaels took an ego-bruising defeat against Washington last Friday, but they kept their chin up and bounced back on Friday. Carmichaels came out on top in a nail-biter against Union Area, sneaking past 16-14. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Carmichaels as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Finally capturing their first win of the season, Carmichaels advanced to 1-6. The loss dropped Union Area's record to 3-5.
Next week Carmichaels take on Frazier at 7:00 PM. Those two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. As for Union Area, they will face off against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. Union Area's defense better steel itself: Our Lady of the Sacred Heart are averaging 42.88 points per game.
