After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Vadrey Crouch in the second quarter,
Pisgah (Canton, N.C.) was up 28-7 at the half.
The Bears expanded their lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. Pisgah scored two times in the third, including once on a
McKinley Brown touchdown pass to
Jesse Anderson.
Brown and Anderson teamed up to form a dynamic passing combination. Anderson has now caught three touchdowns this season, while Brown has thrown four.
Brown played well for PHS in the victory.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which
East Henderson (East Flat Rock, N.C.) took, 49-17.
In a 3A/2A Conference 1 game next week Pisgah (4-1) takes on Franklin, and East Henderson (0-5) will go up against North Henderson also in a 3A/2A Conference 1 game.
