After two weeks on the road, Notre Dame is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Amity Regional at 7:00 PM. Notre Dame are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
While not quite a landslide, the game between Notre Dame and Xavier last Friday was still a pretty decisive one as Notre Dame wrapped it up with a 21-6 win. No one put up better numbers for Notre Dame than junior Jackson Zalinsky, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 130 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Amity Regional got themselves on the board against New Milford, but New Milford never followed suit. Amity Regional put a hurting on New Milford to the tune of 36-0. The victory was familiar territory for Amity Regional, who now have three in a row.
Their wins bumped Notre Dame to 3-2 and Amity Regional to 4-1. The Notre Dame defense got after the quarterback against Xavier to the tune of four sacks, so Amity Regional's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the contest.
