Beaver (6-1) and Grand County (8-0) take on one another this Friday at 7:00 PM on Beaver's home turf. Both teams are accustomed to wide victory margins (Beaver with four blowout wins and Grand County with six), so it will be interesting to see how things plays out.
Beaver breezed past North Sevier last week with a final score of 42 - 12. Senior Porter Hollingshead was especially active in the win, finding the endzone an impressive four times. Hollingshead has been a consistent playmaker for Beaver as this was the 7th good game in a row from him.
As for Grand County, it can now show off six landslide victories after its game last week. It took its game last week with a confident 34 - 7 score. Bryant Troutt was a big part of the win as his strong performance led the charge (he earned two touchdowns and 134 yards rushing the ball). Troutt has now scored at least one TD in the past three consecutive games.
The last time they met, Beaver really took it to Grand County, winning 48 - 13. Beaver was able to move the ball a lot more (460 yards compared to 282 yards), a gap Grand County will be looking to close this time around. Will Beaver come out on top again? We'll soon find out.
