Ratings Compiled By Ned Freeman
ÿ
California's first CIF State Football Championship Bowl Games will take place Dec. 16 at the Home Depot Center in Carson.
ÿ
Three schools from the North will meet three from the South in Divisions I, II, and III to give California its first true state championship teams.
ÿ
MaxPreps will detail the potential contenders each week through Ned Freeman's ratings. Ultimately, section commissioners will decide the pairings, but the ratings should give fans a good indication of the schools in the running to be part of the historical event.
ÿ
Keep in mind that teams must win their respective section titles in order to be considered for inclusion. With the postseason underway, the bowl picture will begin to take shape as teams are eliminated.
