Fellowship Christian made easy work of King's Ridge Christian on Friday and carried off a 46-14 victory. The victory was familiar territory for Fellowship Christian, who now have seven in a row.
Fellowship Christian started the match off right with 40 first-half points. King's Ridge Christian countered with 7 points, leaving the score at 40-7 going into the half. Although Fellowship Christian wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war.
Fellowship Christian found Fellowship Christian's leader in underclassman sophomore Murphy Reeves, who rushed for 161 yards and 3 touchdowns. Reeves has been a consistent playmaker for Fellowship Christian as this was the 6th good game in a row from him. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse senior William Kreikemeier, who racked up ten tackles. Fellowship Christian added further sheen to their flawless record, now 7-0. The defeat dropped King's Ridge Christian's record to 1-6.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Fellowship Christian take on Mount Pisgah Christian at 7:30 PM. Fellowship Christian will be strutting in after a win while Mount Pisgah Christian will be stumbling in from a loss. King's Ridge Christian will take on Pinecrest Academy at home at 7:30 PM.
