McIntosh (Peachtree City, Ga.) took an early lead against North Springs (Atlanta, Ga.) and held on for a 55-7 victory on Saturday.
The Chiefs scored 14 points in the first quarter. McIntosh scored on a passing touchdown and a passing touchdown.
After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, MHS was up 35-7 at the half.
The Peachtree City school expanded its lead to 48 points entering the fourth quarter. The Chiefs scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run.
North Springs' lone touchdown came on a 43-yard pass in the second quarter.
The loss comes after North Springs defeated Cross Keys 40-7 last week.
McIntosh (1-0) will play a non-conference game against Alexander next week, while North Springs (1-1) will take on Hapeville Charter also in a non-conference game.
