Sauk Rapids-Rice's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 17 points in the first half. St. Francis came up with 3 to make it 17-3 heading into the break. Sauk Rapids-Rice were outperformed in the second half 21-32 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the game. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Sauk Rapids-Rice will look to defend their home turf next week against Moorhead at 7:00 PM. St. Francis will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Buffalo at 7:00 PM.
