On Friday, Shenandoah put the finishing touches on their 8th blowout victory of the season. They blew past Monroe Central 36-6.
Shenandoah started the contest off right with 24 first-half points. Monroe Central countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 24-6 going into the half. Shenandoah put the match away in the third quarter with 12 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The victory was the 8th in a row for them, as they raised their record to 8-1. The defeat dropped Monroe Central's record to 7-2.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Next week Shenandoah take on Madison-Grant at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: these teams both put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Monroe Central, they will face off against Clinton Central.
