First Presbyterian Day have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Mount de Sales Academy at 7:30 PM. The odds don't look promising for First Presbyterian Day, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
Last Friday, First Presbyterian Day were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 13-19 to Stratford Academy. A silver lining for First Presbyterian Day was the play of junior Harrison Aulds, who caught passes for 90 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, after flying high against Twiggs County two weeks ago, Mount de Sales Academy came back down to earth. Mount de Sales Academy came up short against Tattnall Square Academy, falling 17-28. Mount de Sales Academy's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. The First Presbyterian Day defense got after the quarterback against Stratford Academy to the tune of four sacks, so Mount de Sales Academy's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the game.
