Genoa Central will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Horatio at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.
Last Friday, Genoa Central came up short against Spring Hill, falling 6-16. Genoa Central got a solid performance out of junior Dalton Savell, who rushed for 70 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
Meanwhile, Horatio found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-34 punch to the gut against Foreman. Horatio were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-21.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
