Oneonta (Ala.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring 12 in the fourth quarter to seal a 44-19 victory over
Cleburne County (Heflin, Ala.).
After taking the lead on a touchdown catch by
Trevor Smith in the first quarter, the Redskins were up 24-13 at the half.
Oneonta expanded its lead to 18 points entering the fourth quarter. OHS scored once in the quarter on an
Avery Reid touchdown run.
With the win the Redskins extended their winning streak to 12 games. Oneonta defeated Jacksonville 56-7 last week.
The Tigers came in allowing just 17.5 points per game this season.
The defeat comes as a step back for Cleburne County, which notched a 21-7 victory over Central in its previous outing. The loss broke Cleburne County's two-game winning streak.
