The Rebels scored 43 unanswered points to dump the Black Knights 43-7 at the Progessive Football Challenge in Suwanee, Ga. Marcus Lattimore scored three touchdowns and rushed for 133 yards on 26 carries. Rebel quarterback Chas Dodd also threw for three touchdowns.

Longview wiped out a 17-0 Allen halftime lead with 28 straight points in the third quarter to claim a 28-25 win. Tyler McCray carried 14 times for 108 yards and had a 21-yard run to give Longview the lead. Carey Fortson (23-yard run) and Da’Cedric Hunt (4-yard run) scored touchdowns earlier in the quarter for the Lobos. Aaron Johnson capped the rally with an 11-yard run early in the fourth quarter.

North Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, Ga.) - 14
North Gwinnett used a stout defense and a pair of touchdown passes from C.J. Uzomah to Cody Gower to upset No. 5 Prattville 14-11 at the Progressive Football Challenge. The Bulldogs limited the Lions to negative 4 yards of total offense in the first half.

Upper Arlington (Columbus, Ohio) - 7
The Raiders extended their winning streak to 25 games with a convincing win over Upper Arlington at the Kirk Herbstreit Varsity Football Series in Columbus, Ohio. Aquinas had 450 yards of offense and received a pair of touchdowns from Giovanni Bernard, who gained 118 yards on 12 carries. Jacob Rudock led the passing attack by completing 7 of 10 passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns.

No. 7 Colerain (Cincinnati, Ohio) - 0
Last year Colerain shocked the Bombers, ending St. Xavier’s 15-game winning streak. This time it was St. Xavier’s turn to pull off the upset, knocking off Ohio’s No. 1 ranked team 16-0. Conor Hundley, a sophomore running back, raced for 161 yards on 18 carries and both touchdowns for the Bombers. St. Xavier also limited Colerain’s explosive rushing attack to 153 yards on 36 carries

Mark Miller threw three touchdown passes to lift Elder over defending Illinois state champion East St. Louis at the Skyline Crosstown Showdown. The Panthers took a 21-0 lead only to see the Flyers close within a point at 21-20. Adam Brown aided the Panther offense with a pair of touchdown runs. Courtney Molton scored all four touchdowns for the Flyers, two on runs of 4 and 80 yards and the others on passes for 47 and 35 yards from Detchauz Wray.

Six different players scored to lift the Owls to a 47-8 win over Kingsbury and put their record at 2-0. Elliott Bryant ran nine times for 112 yards while Barry Brunetti completed 6 of 14 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown. Brunetti also ran for a score.

Phillip Sims completed 15 of 19 passes for 265 yards and one touchdown and JC Coleman scored a pair of TDs to lift the Tigers to their first win of the season and their 16th in a row overall. Corey Steward had a big game on defense for Smith, racking up 13 tackles before leaving the game in the fourth quarter with an ankle sprain.

Chris Collinsworth will be making his debut on Sunday Night Football this year, but his son Austin Collinsworth will be the show on Friday nights. That was the case for Highlands in a 37-14 win over Ryle as the younger Collinsworth scored four touchdowns and racked up 232 all-purpose yards in the victory. Besides rushing 13 times for 124 yards, he also had a 21-yard catch, a 25-yard punt return and 62 yards on kickoff returns. He scored on runs of 52, 8, 28 and 1 yards. Highlands is 2-0 on the season.

Cedar Hill overcame a three-touchdown deficit to edge De Soto. Mason Hayes ran 20 times for 140 yards in place of Ben Malena, who suffered an ankle injury in the first quarter.
