Saucon Valley scaled the state rankings by moving to 144 from 174 this week, the biggest jump in Colonial. The Panthers climbed the ranks as a result of defeating James M. Coughlin 50-49.
Saucon Valley added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Crusaders, 50-49. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Nick Savant was a beast in the backfield as the Panthers topped James M. Coughlin.
Keith Mosher threw for 102 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 8-13 with 0 interceptions.
Savant was a passing and rushing force as Saucon Valley beat Ciro Cinti's team. Savant's key target this week was Nate Harka, who caught 2 passes for 37 yards.
Mosher and Savant gave the Panthers a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Teammate Mosher added to the ground attack by rushing for 67 yards.
Pen Argyl's Ryan Hunt and Nick Oyer have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Hunt has thrown for 1,139 yards this season, while Oyer has 24 catches for 674 yards. Savant from Saucon Valley leads the league in rushing with 2,135 yards.
Palisades fell to Catasauqua 54-28 last week, the largest margin of any game. Christian Gretzinger ran for 193 yards in the loss.
