Ponderosa had a rough outing against Lincoln last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Ponderosa skirted past Nevada Union 38-35. Ponderosa's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 21 points in the first half. Nevada Union matched them to leave it all tied up at 21-21. The offense for Ponderosa put that tie to bed by coming up with 17 points in the second half to win the game.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Ponderosa take on Placer at 7:00 PM. Placer have averaged 45 points over the course of their past eight games, so Ponderosa might be in for a challenge. Nevada Union will be playing at home against Lincoln at at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both of those teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
