MaxPreps National Team of the Week - Prairie, Wash.
Prairie (12-3) extended one of the nation's longest winning streaks with a pair of victories last week, notching its 86th and 87th-consecutive Greater St. Helens League contests against Skyview and Battle Ground, respectively.
Skyview, who earlier this season knocked off Oregon power Southridge, was viewed as the streak's first real threat in at least two seasons, but junior guard Ashley Corral's 25 points helped Prairie put down the rebellion, 54-47.
No. 87 came Thursday in a 69-41 win over Battle Ground.
Head coach Al Aldridge has led Prairie - located just outside of Vancouver, Wash. - to 12 league titles and five state titles since 1993. The Falcons have won 25 games or more in each of the past five seasons.
