both tightened up defensively, but Los Gatos managed to score enough to pull out the 14-0 victory.
The Wildcats scored on two rushing touchdowns to secure the victory.
Los Gatos was up 7-0 at the half after taking the lead on a Joey Wood
touchdown run in the second quarter.
LG expanded its lead to 14 points entering the fourth quarter. The Wildcats scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by Wood.
Wood stood out for Los Gatos in the win. The sophomore running back ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored seven touchdowns on the season.
LG had given up an average of 17.6 points prior to the contest. The zero points that the Bruins ended with were well below their average of 27.3 coming into the game.
The win was a nice bounce back for the Wildcats, which lost to Milpitas last week, 17-15.
