On Friday St. John's/Tipton Catholic take on Linn at 8-man Div II District 4 Game at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Last Friday, St. John's/Tipton Catholic couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 12-58 loss at the hands of Axtell. St. John's/Tipton Catholic got a solid performance out of sophomore Anthony Henke, who rushed for 69 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 12-62, which was the final score in Linn's tilt against Frankfort. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. Find out which team's record gets a tune-up and which team falls into a funk by watching the game and checking back on MaxPreps for the full scoop.
