It was another game, another high-octane performance for South Oldham last week (their 6th in a row). It won a game that couldn't get any closer, slipping by Highlands 35 - 34. The outcome was a definite jolt of excitement for South Oldham after its previous game, where the margin was anything but close. Thanks to its success, South Oldham cracked into the power rankings and now occupies the 25th spot.
Can't Touch This
Boyle County got a 62 - 14 win over Western Hills last week, and a key reason for the win was junior Tanner Crawford. Crawford rushed for 177 yards and three touchdowns. In fact, our algorithms singled out Crawford as one of the top players in the power rankings for the week.
No Stoppin 'Em
89. That was the combined point total for Belfry and Waggener when they went head to head last week, and it set the benchmark for all power ranking teams. Everything went Belfry's way against Waggener as it secured a 63 - 26 win. The victory raised Belfry up two spots in the power rankings.
