It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Brandeis ultimately got the result it was hoping for. It won a game that couldn't get any closer, slipping by Jay 57 - 56. The outcome was a definite jolt of excitement for Brandeis after its previous game, where the margin was anything but close.
Despite the defeat, Jay won't want to forget the exciting 67-yard TD scramble from junior Jaylin Hastings in the second quarter.
The loss dropped Jay's record to 6-4. Brandeis remains undefeated at home and rose to 8-2.
The Jay squad is out to improve its record as its season nears the end. This Friday Jay takes on Smithson Valley in the first playoff game of the year. Jay better gear up as this will be its most challenging opponent yet.
