This week, Pisgah (3 - 2) and Amite County (1 - 3) square off against each other on Friday at 7:00 PM.
Last week, Amite County took on Jefferson County. Amite County's defense put the team in a good position heading into the break, holding Jefferson County to a measly six points. That put Amite County at a 8 - 6 advantage. The offense wasn't without success either, scoring 22 points in the second half. That ultimately made it a 30 - 20 win for Amite County.
As for Pisgah, victory was within reach last week, but it ultimately lost 56 - 49 to Heritage Academy. No one was more disappointed by the loss than junior running back Don Ragsdale, who put up a significant resistance with four TDs.
We'll find out if Pisgah can steal Amite County's luck or if Amite County records another victory instead.
