Dallin Grover ran for two touchdowns and
Brecken Lewis added two as well as
Cedar City (Utah) bested
Sequoia (Redwood City, Calif.) 34-7 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Grover in the second quarter, the Redmen led 21-7 at the half.
Cedar City grew its lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. CC scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by
Dusty Hone.
Sequoia's lone touchdown came on a 1-yard run by
Matt Jenkins in the first quarter.
The Redmen went into the matchup giving up only 17.2 points per game. Sequoia's seven points were well below their season average of 42.0 per game.
The loss comes after Sequoia defeated Woodside 44-26 last week. The loss broke Sequoia's three-game winning streak.
