Williamsville (Ill.) extended its winning streak to five games with a 56-8 victory over Pawnee (Ill.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the Bullets led 35-0 at the half.
Williamsville grew its lead to 49 points entering the fourth quarter. WHS scored two times in the third, including once on a kick return touchdown by
Clayton Welker.
Pawnee's lone touchdown came on a 5-yard run in the fourth quarter.
The loss was the fourth in a row for the Indians.
Pawnee (1-4) goes up against Pleasant Plains in a Sangamo game matchup next week, while Williamsville (5-0) locks horns with PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central also in a Sangamo game.
