2010 notes: Despite an inconsistent offense, Waller still managed to sneak into the playoffs last year with a four-game win streak to close the regular season, capped by a stunning 15-14 upset of Brenham in the finale. But the offense will be very inexperienced at the skill spots in '10; that means a young OL, led by top talent Hill, will need to be the spread attack's anchor until a new QB and WR can be developed. RB Carroll (83-354 yards, 2 TDs) needs to step up his game, too. The strength of this team, though, is going to rest in the defense, especially along the DL; Jacoby White (91 tackles) was a second-team AD pick in '09, and Hamilton was the 18-4A NOY.
