2010 notes: Reagan's two-year playoff stint in 2004 and 2005 remains the program's only postseason berths since the late '50s - that's how tough it's been around these parts. Last year was a frustrating step back for coach Dixon, but '10 presents some opportunity for improvement, especially with a 1,000-yard rusher back in the fold in RB Hardison (1,010 yards, 6 TDs). In Dixon's spread offense, he could be one of the best backs in HISD. But a QB has to mature quickly - possibly John Bichon, who started four games in '09 - and promising young offensive linemen like Trigeros have to develop as well. LB Wells, who was hard to miss in the offseason, could provide an instant impact in the 4-2-5 defense, and he could eventually become an elite collegiate recruit. But the offense has to do better than the 12 points per game it averaged last year.
