No one put up better numbers for Bethel than junior Gunner Smith, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 268 yards and 3 touchdowns. Junior Devin Acklin was in the mix, too, providing Bethel with 2 touchdowns.
The loss dropped Little Axe's record to 1-2. The victory bumped Bethel's record up to 1-2.
Little Axe will look to defend their home turf next week against Lexington at 7:00 PM. Bethel will stay at home against Sulphur at 7:00 PM.
