5A Region I District 8 recap September 17, 2013
Shoemaker scaled the state rankings by moving to 457 from 592 this week, the biggest jump in 5A Region I District 8. The Wolves were able to make move up by beating Stony Point 42-38.
Shoemaker and the Tigers played the closest game in the league this week, with Shoemaker eventually emerging with a 42-38 victory.
Shane Stafford and Shane Stafford gave Belton a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Stafford threw for 256 yards, while Stafford ran for 106 yards. Kavan Johnson also contributed to the rushing game with 41 yards on the ground.

Midway took down North Crowley 41-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
