The biggest upset of the week belonged to Grove, who defeated 114th ranked Central, 20-14.
Collinsville added to the longest winning streak in 5A District 4 this week by beating Pryor, 20-19. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
DeAngelo Brewer was a passing and rushing force as the Braves lost to the Ridgerunners. He completed 3 passes for 66 yards and also ran for 131 yards.
Dhalton Horsman was a key player and the best on defense this week as Claremore defeated Coweta. The 5-foot-9 senior racked up 2 sacks.
Ryan Ogg was the best receiver in the league this week as the Tigers lost to Collinsville. Ogg tallied 1 reception for 80 yards. Brennon Barth helped Pryor's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 13 yards.
The Zebras' Brinley Brown and Dustin Basks have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Brown has thrown for 1,381 yards this season, while Basks has 35 catches for 644 yards. Barth from Pryor leads the league in rushing with 1,226 yards.
An important game coming up in 5A District 4 this week will be when East Central takes on the Tigers. The Cardinals are in fourth place, while Pryor is in second place.
Kevin Jones' team and the Tigers played the most contested game in the league this week, with Kevin Jones' team eventually emerging with a 20-19 victory.
