2010 notes: Purser ended the Bulldogs' three-year playoff drought in his Borger coaching debut, and this year's senior-dominated team could make a run past the first round. OL Bittner might have been the key to the team's 4,000 yards of offense, while DE Littrell (55 tackles, 5 sacks) has "great get off the line" speed, Purser said. Bringing back WR Jones (345 yards, 6 TDs) and shifty RB Clement (680 yards) will help Borger implement new QB Irwin, a starting WR last year. DB Brown (36 tackles) also played some RB last year (434 yards), but Purser expects to play him mostly on defense, where fellow junior DE Clark (53 tackles, 3 sacks) will have a bigger role after starting the final six games.
