It is Saturday morning, and last nights game was simply remarkable. OK, the game was a blowout, but the fact that I got to witness Oaks Christian first hand, made my night. Saint Bonaventure was ranked 13th in the country, so when Oaks did to them what they have been doing to the division eleven schools every Friday night for the past 33 weeks, my mouth is still touching the floor.
The day itself was one to be written about as well. We got to be in both rallies', in which we presented both schools with a banner in congratulations of being the MaxPreps "Game of the Week." We played Madden, Mike beat me again, and saw Army present two of the St. Bonaventure players with an invite to the High School All-American game in San Antonio.
This morning we got all the little kinks worked on, so now our RV is in prime condition. Thanks Mr. Lee for doing that, you are a legend! It is cleaned and tuned up for this upcoming trip to Dallas, Texas. We will probably be leaving California tomorrow, and start driving towards the Grand Canyon. I know that it is a little out of the way, but this is a road trip, and what would a road trip be if you didn't get to see the marvelous natural wonders of our great nation. Anyways, I want to thank all the administration at both schools for letting us be apart of this major event in their schools history. I also want to thank the Lee family for opening their doors to us, Mike should be proud to call you his family because I am sure proud to call you my friends. Off to Texas!!!
