Ridgeview might be getting used to good results now that the team have three wins in a row. They were the clear victor by a 49-21 margin over Springfield. Ridgeview found Ridgeview's leader in underclassman sophomore Josh Beiver, who rushed for 181 yards and 3 touchdowns. If you haven't heard Beiver's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past four games.
Meanwhile, if there were any doubts about the heavy odds in favor of North Bend coming into their contest against Redmond last Friday, the squad laid those doubts to rest. Everything came up roses for North Bend against Redmond last Friday as the squad secured a 62-7 victory. The lopsides score is just par for the course this season for North Bend, who can brag about three blowout wins.
Their wins bumped North Bend to 5-1 and Ridgeview to 3-3. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
